A Targeted Treatment for Visible Veins

Spider veins are typically harmless, but their appearance can affect your confidence and how you feel about your skin. To help patients get rid of them, we use sclerotherapy. In Fort Myers, our vein specialists inject a specialized solution to collapse these damaged vessels, reducing their web-like appearance.

We offer sclerotherapy for spider veins so you can achieve clearer skin without surgery or downtime.

How Sclerotherapy Works

Your provider begins by identifying the veins that need treatment, which they may do so using ultrasound technology. Then, they clean the skin and use a fine needle to inject the sclerosing solution into the targeted vein.

The solution causes the vein walls to stick together and close. Your body then breaks down the treated vein over time. Because blood naturally reroutes through healthy veins, circulation continues through stronger vessels.
